Orlando Higginbottom's other amazing name is Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs (TEED for short). Son of an Oxford music professor, this David Guetta-with-brains makes harmless, well-written house music that ranges from delicate minimalist thimps to fist-pumping maximalist thumps, as heard on his debut album Trouble, released last month. The spindly 26-year-old Englishman also sings live into a microphone from behind his keyboards and wears outlandish, black feathered costumes that are true to the childlike innocence and enthusiasm of his project and make him look like a pale, goth Sun Ra.
