Life Is a Carnival: Celebrating the Music of Levon Helm

First Levon Helm, then Adam Yauch: Cancer took two pop music luminaries in the last month.  This month, a dozen Seattle musicians play tribute to Helm, founding member of the Band and longtime solo artist, playing his songs in a benefit for Gilda's Club Seattle, a cancer research center.  Expect the likes of Duff McKagan, Jason Dodson, Ian Moore, Jeff Fielder, Lindsay Fuller, Choklate, Zoe Muth and more. And expect a tribute to Yauch soon, too.
