The World Extreme Pencil Fighting League—aka WXPFL—elevates the humble schoolyard sport to an explosive spectacle of human drama, creating the most absurd live performance you’ll see this summer (unless you see Neil Diamond at Key Arena on July 23). Applying the bombast of pro wrestling to a competition that requires no real skill, WXPFL is all about showmanship, with a roster of gloriously despicable “heels” pitted against each other in feverishly shifting rivalries and allegiances.
