Chicago-based artist Mike Simi earned his MFA at the University of Washington with his inspired weirdness in sculpture and mixed media. Robert Yoder's SEASON gallery is currently showing new sculpture and drawings by Simi, including this kinetic arrangement that's loaded with the artist's typical humor. "Most of the people in my family are either janitors or prison guards—the sound of jingling keys makes me feel like I'm at home," Simi says. The SEASON show, Happiness Rides Wide, runs through Sept. 30.
