Art Walk Awards

Spring Art Walk Awards is coming Wednesday, May 22 to 1927 Events, from 7-10 P.M. City Arts will award $1,250 for first place, $500 for second place and $250 for third place (out of ten total selected entries). You must RSVP to attend, 21+.

About the Spring Art Walk Awards
Art Walk Awards has expanded to include three winners (first place $1,250, second place $500, third place $250) and the first place winner will be featured in City Arts magazine. Businesses and galleries that participate the Art Walk Consortium of neighborhood art walks are responsible for the nominations for these awards. All nominated artworks should have been shown sometime between January 2013 and late April 2013. City Arts staff has chosen nine finalists from the nominations. All other nominations were considered to compete for the People's Choice Nominee - through an online vote (voting is now closed) and that winner is eligible to run for a cash prize along with the nine City Arts selected finalists. Congratulations to Andrew Miller for winning the People's Choice Vote! Everyone who attends the Spring Art Walk Awards will vote for the winners and we'll hand out the awards that night. Thanks to our presenting sponsor Blue Moon Beer, and our supporting partner Seattleartwalks.org.
