2012 Summer Art Walk Awards: New Home, New Winning Artist
Every few months, City Arts teams up with Blue Moon to give six local artists the opportunity to win $1,000. Attendees mingle, drink for free and enjoy sets from Seattle's finest DJs while voting for their favorite Art Walk Awards finalist. This time around, Greg Boudreau took home the big bucks for his work, "Hanford Valves", an impressive large-scale painting done on salvaged wood.

DJ Jason Justice kept the party going all night.

Artwork underwent strategic analysis by attendees before voting took place....but mostly people just chose the one they liked the best.

After a few beers to get the creative juices flowing, guests were invited to contribute to the Blue Moon painting, which was finished by the end of the night and surprisingly, resembled pretty closely, the original work.

Final votes are added before tallying begins.

AWA's new home at 1927 Events was a perfect fit for artwork, artists and guests alike.
